From Venice Treviso Airport:

Take a shuttle bus to Venezia Mestre rail station. There is one after each arrival, costs 3 € and travels 30 minutes.

At Venezia Mestre buy tickets to Trieste Centrale. Check the connections on the internet page bellow, but pay attention, there are two options to Trieste one takes 2 hours and the other 3, so check which one you are taking. If you come late in the evening there are yellow automatic machines to get tickets.

From Venice Marco Polo Airport:

From the airport take the shuttle to Venezia Mestre Trains station. Be sure to have some change since  there are automatic ticket machines.

From Ljubljana Airport:

Take a shuttle to Ljubljana central station.

Take a bus or a train from Ljubljana to Koper. We recommand the train because it is faster, more comfortable, little cheaper and there is a beautiful landscape on the way.

Koper is served by a railway from Ljubljana that connects daily to destinations in Croatia, Hungary, Austria, Germany, Czech Republik, Serbia and Greece. If you travel from Italy, France, Switzerland then search for connections to Trieste trough Venice.  Take a bus from Trieste to Koper.
