In cooperation with the Ministry of Information Society and the Municipality of Koper, in 2002 the cyber café was opened with purpose to upgrade the local access to web content. The design of Cyber café as a multipurpose social space that tries to combine all active potentials of Koper became reality and today Cyber café is a place that offers public access to the Internet and serves as a living room in the middle of the city - open space, offering visitors’ quality content.

Features of living rooms are their openness, interactivity and fultifunction so Cyber Café is at the same time:

social space – designing your own time in creative space

cyber café - the use of computers and WI-FI access

library - reading spot, creative-reflective spot and spot dedicated to networking. The purpose of the library is to promote creativity among visitors through getting to know the literature and participating in creative writing workshops. By providing a space for creativity, as well as access to literature and creative writing workshops Cyber Café encourages creativity

terminal - the possibility of international learning mobility with the aim of encouraging individuals towards greater mobility and independence, develop their potential and skills that are important for the progress of all participants and promoters in the personal, social-educational and professional field.

intermedia arts gallery - Intermedia arts with their constantly evolving forms and practices reflect contemporary forms of life, that moves in a hyper-reality. Artists set non-real (hyper-real) as a mirror opposite the real, which has become fluid. It is this constant change that makes an intermedia art most difficult to define and identify. Intermedia art gallery was launched in November 1999. The aim was to create a space that would allow artists to realize their visions and present the work to the general public. Due to multi-cultural specifics of the coastal area the leading ideaof the gallery is to present artists from area, that currently goes beyond the borders of the three countries.

educational café - lectures, seminars, round tables, courses that promote active participation and reflection on social topics.

film corner - films that reflect subtle socio critical thinking through a variety of genres and themes

You are invited in a free-choice purpose space as a visitor, that with its presence and active participation gives meaning to space or as an author / lecturer / workshop leader who helps to co-create the happening.
